Sailing Club Waterfront

Sejlklubben København have asked Parterre to develop their inner-city harbour area from a hard and unwelcoming space into an inviting and intimate place for their members and local residents. Breaking down the open space into a human scale waterfront and pocket park, the design utilises timber elements, plants and maritime design references to create sheltered and softer spaces. With the waterfront on public land and the project to be built by sailing club members, the design contains simple modular constructions that can be realised strategically in stages over the coming years.
